中国的象形文字是表意文字，最初是由图画演变而来。作品对汉字的演化进行了一个大胆的假设，假如人类继续对自然生态进行破坏，我们的文字最后可能会演变成面目全非的模样。例如：鱼字、鸟字、虎字，不再是鲜活可爱的生命，而是一具具怪异悚然的骸骨。这是一场关于汉字文化传承与环境保护的思想碰撞。
Chinese hieroglyphics are ideographic characters, originally evolved from pictures. The work makes a bold assumption about the evolution of Chinese characters. If human beings continue to destroy the natural ecology, our characters may eventually become unrecognizable. For example, the characters "fish", "bird" and "tiger" are no longer fresh and lovely lives, but strange and frightening skeletons. This is a collision of ideas about the cultural inheritance of Chinese characters and environmental protection.
